Membership
As of April 2016, a wait list has been established for membership in the BRGC. The BRGC is not currently accepting new applications (this includes applications for reinstatement of past members). A waiting list has been established on a “first come, first served” basis for anyone wishing to become a member, or any past member that would like to reinstate their membership.
Anyone wishing to get on the wait list, please contact the Membership Secretary at the e-mail address below. Please be sure to include your name, city or town of residence, telephone number, e-mail address and the name of a club member that will be acting as your sponsor. If you don’t have a sponsor that’s ok, a sponser is not currently required to join. You are not on the wait list unitil you receive a confirmation email from the Membership Secretary.
If you are on the wait list, there is no need to submit an application, and please DO NOT send a check.
The membership level is reviewed once a year at the Club Annual Meeting which is held the first week of April. If space opens up you will, in order of the wait list, be contacted after that meeting by the Membership Secretary via e-mail or the contact information provided to the club. The current wait time to join the BRGC is averaging one year, depending on when your name was added to the list, the number of openings and the number of applicants on the list ahead of you.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide a more accurate estimate.
Once you are contacted by the Membership Secretary and confirmed that your application for membership can proceed, you will be asked to complete an application and submit a check for $225 the first year’s dues ($125) and a onetime initiation fee ($100). All applicants are required to attend a meeting and complete a new member orientation prior to the reading of their application.
